This Privacy Policy explains what information Agenthusiast collects when you visit agenthusiast.com or work with us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to run our business and serve our clients, and we never sell your personal information.

01 Who this applies to

This policy applies to Agenthusiast LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("Agenthusiast," "we," "us," or "our") and to the personal information we handle through our website at agenthusiast.com and in the course of providing our services. It does not cover the separate websites we build and host for clients, which are governed by each client's own privacy policy, or third-party websites we link to.

02 Information we collect

Information you give us

When you contact us, request a quote, book a call, or buy a plan, you may share your name, business name, email address, phone number, the details of your project, and any client content you send us. If you create an account, we keep the information needed to manage it.

Payment information

When you purchase a plan, payment is handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects and processes your card details directly. We do not collect, see, or store full card numbers on our servers. We receive limited confirmation details, such as your subscription status and the type of plan purchased.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we automatically receive some technical information when you visit, such as your device and browser type, general location inferred from your IP address, the pages you view, and how you reached our site. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies, as described below.

03 How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • respond to your enquiries and communicate about your project and account;
  • design, build, host, secure, and maintain your website;
  • process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe;
  • operate, secure, and improve our own website and services;
  • measure how our marketing and ads perform; and
  • comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

04 Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, understand how it is used, and measure the performance of our advertising. This includes Google services such as Google tag and Google Ads conversion tracking, which help us see how visitors find and use our site and whether our ads are effective. These tools may set cookies and collect usage data subject to Google's own privacy policy.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work. Where required, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

05 Instagram and social messaging

We run our own Instagram professional account and use Meta's official Instagram API to help us keep up with the people who contact us there. We do not use unofficial tools, scrapers, or automation that logs into Instagram on our behalf.

When you comment on one of our posts or send our account a direct message, we receive and store the parts of that interaction we need in order to answer you:

  • your Instagram username and the account identifier Instagram assigns you for our app;
  • the text of your comment or message, and which post it relates to;
  • the replies we send back to you, and when they were sent.

We use this only to reply to you, either publicly under your comment or by direct message, and to keep track of conversations so we do not message you twice about the same thing. Some replies are drafted with the help of an AI assistant, but they are sent from our own account and we are responsible for them. We do not sell this information, we do not use it to target advertising, and we do not combine it with data bought from anyone else.

If you do not want us to message you, say so. Replying with stop, unsubscribe, or not interested permanently stops any further automated replies to your account. That preference is stored specifically so we can honour it, and it is the one thing we keep after you opt out.

We keep comment and message records for as long as the conversation is useful to us, and delete them on request. To have your Instagram data removed, follow the steps on our data deletion page or email [email protected].

What Instagram and Meta themselves collect when you use their apps is governed by their policies, not this one. See the Instagram Privacy Policy.

06 How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers: trusted companies that help us operate, listed in the next section, who may only use the information to perform services for us.
  • Legal reasons: when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Agenthusiast, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers: if Agenthusiast is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
  • With your direction: when you ask us to share information, for example with a domain registrar or another provider you choose.

07 Service providers

We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run our business. Each handles your information under its own privacy and security commitments:

  • Stripe for payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Google for website analytics and advertising measurement.
  • Web3Forms for delivering messages submitted through our contact and enquiry forms.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that store and serve our website and securely process bookings and enquiries.

We may add or change providers over time and will keep this list current.

08 Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to serve you, run our business, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove the details that identify you. You can ask us to delete your information as described under Your privacy rights.

09 How we protect data

Security is built into how we work. We serve our website over encrypted HTTPS, apply security headers and ongoing updates, and limit access to personal information to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and to reduce risk.

10 Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • request that we delete your information;
  • object to or restrict certain uses of your information; and
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, which we do not do.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by law and may need to verify your identity first. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

11 Your choices

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us, though we may still send you essential messages about your project, account, or billing. You can manage cookies in your browser, and many browsers support Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals, which we honor where we are required to.

12 Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13 Links to other sites

Our website may link to other sites, including those of our service providers and clients. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites we do not operate. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

14 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and significant changes may be communicated to active clients. Your continued use of our website and services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
