01 How to request deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject Delete my data, and tell us how to find you: the email address, phone number, or Instagram username you used.

If you contacted us through Instagram, you can also simply reply delete my data in that same conversation. It reaches the same place.

We do not require an account or a form. We may ask one follow-up question if we cannot confidently match a request to a record, because deleting the wrong person's data is worse than asking.

02 What we delete

On request we remove the information we hold about you, which may include:

• your Instagram username and account identifier;
• comments and direct messages you sent us, and our replies;
• enquiry details you submitted through our website forms;
• contact details and notes held about you as a prospect or client.

One exception: if you asked us to stop messaging you, we keep the minimum record needed to honour that, so an opt-out is not undone by deleting everything else. It is a single flag against your username, nothing more.

We may also keep records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices and payment records for tax purposes. Those are kept for the period the law requires and nothing longer.

03 How long it takes

We action requests within 30 days and usually far sooner. You will get a reply confirming what was removed. If we cannot delete something, we will tell you what and why rather than quietly leaving it.

04 Data held by Instagram and Meta

Deleting your data with us does not delete anything Instagram or Meta hold. Your comments and messages still exist in your own Instagram account and on Meta's systems, under their control and their policies.

To remove content on Instagram, delete it from within the Instagram app. To manage or remove what Meta holds about you, use the Instagram Accounts Center or the Instagram Privacy Policy.
